Maintenance an accurate hourly logbook of all equipment machinery and utility reading during his shift. Collect samples of water from boiler and chiller and performs control test as required. Turns over operation to the next shift, coordinates with outgoing or incoming plants mechanics for instruction and other information required to adequately proceed with routine operating condition. Receives fuel deliveries and checks amount delivered against invoice. Makes regular rounds of the different hotel location to examine and/or check mechanical equipment. Cleans lubricates, greases, condensing units and tube condenser, cooling coils, blowers, motors, pumps, moving parts, pillow block and flange bearing, packing and other routine points. Carries out appropriate repair of mechanical installation such as shutting-off, reducing loads, stopping operations of any mechanical equipment if the need arises in coordination with the Duty Engineering Manager. Installs and overhauls chillers, freezers and air-conditioning units as assigned by supervisor. Services kitchen equipment such as gas range, gas stoves, oven, etc.. Examines such mechanism/system such as motors, controls, generator, switches relays, contractors, overloads, printed circuit board brakes, cables, pulleys, counterweights, other safety devices and likes for accumulation of dirt, corrosion, loose connections, overhearing, wear and tear, mal-adjustments and other abnormalities. Determines and recommends, as directed and based on equipment record cards, manufacturer’s catalogue and own specialized technical knowledge and experience, any changes and possible improvements on techniques and methods. Conducts repair, and maintenance in guestrooms/outlets/offices. Attends to guest request regarding defective devices, equipment, electrical or electronic appliances/equipment. Checks daily operational requirements such as weekly consumption or bunker fuel oil, steam and electric generators. Ensures par stock is sufficient for the periodically as specified by the hotel. Processes and follows-ups requisition for tools and parts. Ensures availability of supplies to minimize/avoid undue delay to work completion. Maintains a standard classification/arrangement of supplies to ensure efficient storekeeping operations. Issues materials based on actual work specifications: logs issuance accordingly. Conducts monthly, quarterly and annual inventory of all Engineering supplies: reports results to the superior. Reports on monthly expenditures of engineering supplies, defective tools/equipment to substantiate replenishment. Prepares and submits monthly attendance record and checks against leave applications and/or time sheet to ensure they are corresponded. Fabricates repairs and/or installs wooden aspects of hotel facilities and furnishing as may deem necessary. Ensures all painting/vanishing supplies are properly stored and all tools/equipment used are properly cleaned and kept after each days works. Undertakes high quality painting/carpenter/vanishing works of hotel facilities and furnishing such as but not limited to wooden furniture walls. Attends maintenance requests, ensures that work orders are completed in the shortest possible time Operates and applies repairs and/or preventive maintenance to all requests, equipment on timely basis and effectively. Returns damaged and excess materials to the Engineering Storeroom. Keeps the Engineering workroom and areas as clean and tidy as possible at all times. Reviews periodically the quantity and type of commonly needed spare parts and coordinates closely with the stock personnel to ensure availability of spare parts. Performs maintenance repair, test and adjustments on equipment and machinery as scheduled. Notes and reports all findings, observations, breakdown losses immediately to Duty Engineering Manager for proper handling. Performs other related duties and special projects as maybe assigned by the immediate superior.



1. Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of repair & maintenance experience. Hand on experience with machines and equipments used in large building or residential complex is highly desirable.
3. Good knowledge and understanding of machines and the preventive procedures.
4. Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
5. Computer literate.
6. Posses professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
